Loretta invites you to a serene and relaxing stay in her elegant nineteenth-century urban residence, located in Barbaste, on the edge of the Landes forest.

You will discover

Presentation

La Maison 64, a charming bed and breakfast, is nestled in the heart of Barbaste, a stone's throw from the Canal des Deux Mers cycling path. The village features two restaurants and a café/bar for delightful dining experiences, as well as the opportunity to relax on our shaded terrace. Our suite can comfortably accommodate up to 6 adults in three separate rooms: Le Roi (deluxe king size), La Reine (deluxe queen size), and Le Prince (standard twin). Each room is distinctively decorated with a handpicked selection of furniture and decor, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Located on the first floor as an isolated part of the main house, they provide the highest level of privacy. A generous breakfast is included with your stay.

"Le Roi" Double room

This lavish bedroom radiates a 'wow' factor, boasting a grand king-size bed adorned with opulent linens for a lavish slumber. The stylish decor blends natural wood with blue-green tones and gold highlights, crafting a sophisticated ambiance. A touch of affordable luxury. Extensive storage provides ample room for garments and personal effects, complemented by the modern convenience of a walk-in Italian shower.

"La Reine" Queen sized bed

The suite in The Queen Room is in the traditional French boudoir style with its own separate bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower. It has a queen size bed, a desk area, a dressing table, a wardrobe and an armchair and is decorated in pastel tones for a calm atmosphere. Opulent silk curtains, exotic prints and eclectic antique furniture help to create this refined space.

" The Prince" Twin bedded room

Le Prince, featuring twin beds, provides flexible accommodation for singles, couples, or children over 12 years old as part of a family trip. When combined with an adjacent double bedroom (Le Roi or La Reine), it becomes ideal for larger group reservations. The single beds are adult-sized, each measuring 200cm in length. Additionally, the room includes separate facilities for the shower and toilet.

Terrace and Outside Space

From the house, steps descend to a spacious, secluded seating area that evokes the charm of an English country garden. Here, one can sit back and unwind or have a picnic on the expansive terrace, and during the summer months, take a dip in the swimming pool.

The local Area

Discover Gascony by bike! The cycle route that runs through the Baise valley crosses history on the land of the young Henri de Navarre, the future King Henri IV. The route connects to the Scandibérique in Barbaste, at the foot of the fortified mill (see photo) and heads towards the Gers via Nérac, capital of the Albret and Moncrabrau, known for its unusual festival of the Liars.
