At the foot of the medieval castle and the river Attert, an ecologically sustainable hotel project has been created using healthy/low-pollutant building materials: a modern passive house complex with 7 rooms (Pavillon), 3 pileed accommodations “MushRooms”, partly built from local wood, and 3 additional family rooms. The conversion of the old tannery into a brasserie with a ballroom completed this project. The site has an autonomous heating network, which is using wood pellets as renewable energy source.

Comfort double room or single room in the building called "PAVILLON", a modern complex in passive house construction with a green roof. Maisonnette "MushRoom"

The 3 "MushRooms" are designed for a maximum of 2 people.
On the ground floor there is a small living room, a bathroom (shower, WC, washbasin) and a small balcony. The bedroom is on the upper floor, accessible via a 2m ladder and a 90-degree staircase.

Where does the name come from?

The name “Péitche Lauer” originates from a song by the Luxembourg journalist Jean-Pierre Welter “Un der Atert, no beim Waasser”, that is very well known in the region, and talks about the farmer Péitche (Peter) Lauer and his daughter Josefin. The original US-song “Darling Clementine” dates back to 1850 and has already been rewritten in many countries.
